The Home Depot Acquires The Company Store
Home supplies retailer The Home Depot announced that it has acquired The Company Store, an online retailer of textiles and home décor products. According to management, the acquisition provides product development and sourcing capabilities to help expand the online décor business into broader categories across the entire home. The deal does not include The Company Store’s five retail locations.
